My First SLASH
Everyone’s welcome, especially families and children (aged seven and above)!
Hoping to spark a lifelong interest in fantastic cinema with a warm welcome to the SLASH family, we’re proud to present this family-friendly short film program dedicated to the lively imagination and curiosity of a younger audience that’s sure to bring big laughs to people of all ages.
Life isn’t easy. You’re plagued by annoying birds, have to stand up to cruel villains, wait in the drought for long-expected rain and all the chaos of the outside world can be really intimidating. But what would SLASH be if we didn’t turn such difficult situations into some wild adventures? When the end of all things is imminent, we try everything we can to prevent it, or at least spend it with the people we cherish the most. We find hope where we thought it was already lost, unexpectedly meet loved ones we thought we’d never see again and do everything we can to save our dearest friends, no matter how hopeless the situation seems. And if the end is inevitable, there’s nothing wrong with choosing a new life, is there? If irradiated chickens, robot monsters and the approaching apocalypse don’t sound like fun, let us convince you otherwise and leave it up to SLASH to make the end of the world a thrilling ride!
