BURIED ALIVE!!!! monochrom does it again!

The SLASH Filmfestival presents the exclusive rebirth of one of the most legendary performance series by the Viennese artists’ collective monochrom. First staged more than twenty years ago, BURIED ALIVE!!!! monochrom does it again! gives participants the chance to have themselves buried in a coffin for fifteen minutes. The performance opens with a lecture by Johannes Grenzfurthner on the scientific history of determining death and the medical cultural history of premature burial. “Death Jockeys” extend the experience with a musical program of funeral marches and songs about death from all over the world.

Important information

Mobile phones, flashlights and other devices may not be taken into the coffin (exceptions possible).

Participants must sign a written declaration of consent.
