Daphne and Darcy have left the London noise behind. In the remote Welsh countryside, she plans to work on an experimental music album, for which he sets out to record the sounds of nature. But the chirping and rustling are soon joined by a strange presence. A local child who befriends the couple seems to know the origin of the sound. Rabbit Trap is an enormously atmospheric, unsettling folk-horror ballad shot on analog film and both enlivened and haunted by Graham Reznick and Brent Kiser’s excellent sound design.
