FANTASTIC FLINGS
In Anlehnung an den englischen Begriff „Fling“ – eine unbeschwerte Romanze oder lockere Affäre – springt SLASH voller Stolz mit dem internationalen Animationsfilmfestival Tricky Women Tricky Realities ins Bett, für die diesjährigen Fantastic Flings: ein gemeinsames Programm, das Beziehungen durch die Genre-Brille betrachtet und Kurzfilm-Lieblinge beider Festivals vorstellt – ganz nach dem Motto: „We‘ll show you ours if you show us yours!“
Ausgehend vom fantastischen Potential von Animationsfilmen, vertraute Erzählstrukturen aufzubrechen, begibt sich dieses Programm auf eine Reise durch bizarre und unheimliche, zugleich aber auch (überraschend) komische und zarte Begegnungen – denn selbst Paradies und Dystopie können manchmal eine Liaison eingehen! Ihre Verstrickung wirft Fragen auf: Was geschieht mit dem Hunger und dem Verlangen, wenn der ersehnte Traum plötzlich zum Greifen nah ist?
