The 13th SLASH Film Festival has been history for just under a month, and already things are moving briskly along with an eye toward 2023: Today, October 31, 2022, the highest holiday in the scary film community, marks the start of the first submission phase for feature-length and short films for the 14th SLASH (Sept. 21-Oct. 1, 2023) on FilmFreeway.
Submissions are open to feature-length films of at least 70 minutes in length and short films of 30 minutes or less completed no earlier than January 1, 2022. The SLASH program is international, therefore no restrictions apply regarding film language and country of production. As a festival of Fantastic Film, we accept submissions from the genres of horror, science fiction and fantasy in any artistic form, whether feature, documentary, animation or experimental film. The first submission period runs until February 28, 2023 (Early Bird Deadline).
