Everyone’s welcome, especially families and children (ages 8 and above). When accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket, up to two children under the age of 12 can attend for free. If the ticket is purchased online, please send an email to tickets@slashfilmfestival.com and let us know how many seats we should reserve.

Starting at 12:30, there will be a free magic show before the screening. Kids can join when they like and watch for as long as they want in the lobby.

Hoping to spark a lifelong interest in fantastic cinema with a warm welcome to the SLASH family, we’re proud to present this family-friendly short film program dedicated to the lively imagination and curiosity of a younger audience that’s sure to bring big laughs to people of all ages.

Pack your bags and join us on a journey through fantastic worlds filled with all kinds of surprises! But don’t forget to buy your ticket, because you really don’t want to mess with the conductor. Along the way, there’s plenty to marvel at: endless starry skies, fluffy clouds bringing life-giving rain, and colorful jungle landscapes that are home to magical creatures. But not everything is as peaceful as it seems. When dark storm clouds gather, a mighty creature threatens the idyllic surroundings, the search for food turns into a fight for survival, or Death himself pays us a visit, we’ll need to be especially brave and come up with a good strategy. We can’t simply escape reality, even if we sometimes yearn to see life through someone else’s eyes. And if we were actually given the chance, would we end up wishing for our own lives back? With all the dangers, high expectations, and that strange tingling beneath our skin? Let’s find out together — all aboard!
