I Love Paris

Nicky Murphy | AU/FR 2026 | 105 Min | DCP

Guest(s) present

“I Love Paris” is quite the handy pop-star pseudonym; even non-fans will wear the merch. In the music business, however, the hierarchies are rigid, and Paris’s career is going nowhere fast. Business tip no. 75: let a vampire bite you! It’s easier to get through stage doors when you have fangs—and the competition is bled dry. Shaky vlog footage plunges Nick Murphy’s movie deep into the depths of careerism—or is this feminist blaxploitation empowerment exacting revenge on an uptight establishment? Whatever. The night is young, and the spiraling hedonism makes you feel immortal! Raise a glass of iced blood and snort three lines of coke to wash down those moral qualms—as the sun always, always rises . . .
