A queer warehouse party in New York is hanging in the balance. Promoter Dre (Katy O’Brien of Love Lies Bleeding fame) is feverishly searching for a new headliner, while her brother-in-law, a straight white dude rather triggered by melting gender identities, is supposed to fix the clogged toilets. When the Big Apple is overrun by a zombie epidemic, drag queens, club kids, and frenemies join forces to fight shoulder pad to shoulder pad against the undead. Tina “Daughter of George A.” Romero follows in the footsteps of her legendary dad with this sickening zom-com full of shade, gore, and glitter—featuring gag-worthy appearances by queer legends like drag icon Nina West and comedian Margaret Cho. Gurl! (Markus Keuschnigg)
