Hokum

Damian McCarthy | IE/AE 2026 | 107 Min | DCP

Grumpy horror writer Ohm Bauman (Adam Scott) retreats to a remote hotel in Ireland to scatter his parents’ ashes and, ideally, finish his next book. But the honeymoon suite is supposedly haunted, and when Ohm suddenly wakes up in a hospital bed, he starts to realize that some of the hotel’s secrets are interwoven with his own past. After Oddity (SLASH 2024), Damian McCarthy serves up another mystery thriller packed with twists and turns, red herrings, and an infernally scary underbelly. Ireland, here we come! (Amadeus Mader)
