My First SLASH
Everyone’s welcome, especially families and children (ages eight and above). When accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket, up to two children under the age of 12 can attend for free. If the ticket is purchased online, please send an email to tickets@slashfilmfestival.com and let us know how many seats we should reserve.

Life in nature is not always as peaceful as it seems. Between green trees, picture-perfect beaches, and blooming gardens lurk dangers that must be overcome. When a mystical darkness turns fertile soil into a lifeless forest, the neighboring golf course spells doom for the garden gnomes, or a small turtle must fight for survival, fearlessness and ingenuity are called for. Luckily, at SLASH we’re never short on imagination, and we know that even painful losses, seemingly hopeless situations, or pranks that may have gone a little too far can be handled with a healthy dose of humor and solidarity. What if a well-deserved break in the sun is ruined by annoying clouds, the snoring of the person next to you reaches a previously unknown dimension, or a power nap turns into a wild trip through the world of worms and maggots? Come and find out as you let these shorts tickle your funny bone, make unexpected friendships and enjoy the goosebumps.
