This time around, SLASH regular Joe Begos (Bliss, SLASH 2019; Christmas, Bloody Christmas, SLASH X-MAS 2022) turns all his trademarks into an absurd chamber play of terrors in which he also plays the starring role. Jimmy and Stiggs was shot over four years in gorgeous 16mm, and while wagging tongues may claim Begos only filmed his daily life, there’s a lot of fun to be had with this toxic mix of practical effects, blinding neon lights, and rock ’n’ roll while the swear jar keeps filling up!
