Incomplete Chairs

Whoever gets chair envy after watching Kenichi Ugana’s (Extraneous Matter – Complete Edition, SLASH 2021) latest batshit adventure, should have themselves committed ASAP. A young chairmaker-impostor lures lovers and representatives of the seating-furniture business into his apartment to bash their heads in, creatively dispose of their body parts, and use individual components of their remains to render into coveted objects. But it takes a lot of talent to make a comfy armchair out of skin and bones. No festival has yet dared to touch this grotesquely gory-funny mix of American Psycho, general fuckedupness, and capitalism satire—with a ten-foot-pole or otherwise. Grab a chair, folks!
