Adele Banks

is the founder and director of Dead by Dawn International Horror Film Festival, now in its 34th year. Creator of the Bloody Books imprint, she edited and published volumes of new and classic short horror fiction. As an expert in horror, she is a regular guest speaker at UK universities and features writer for national broadsheets.

Tilman Singer (DE)

Tilman Singer

was born in Leipzig in 1988. He studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. His debut feature film, Luz, was the winner of the inaugural SLASH Competition in 2018. It premiered at Berlinale, as did his second feature film, Cuckoo (SLASH ½ 2024). Tilman lives and works in Berlin.

Stephen Thrower (GB)

Stephen Thrower

is a writer of books on cinema (e.g., Beyond Terror: The Films of Lucio Fulci). He has contributed video discussions to over 150 Blu-ray releases and presents an ongoing video location series, In the Land of Franco, for Severin Films. As a musician he has produced film music for Derek Jarman, Ben Wheatley, and Lucile Hadžihalilović.
