First things first: we consider Strange Darling to be an instant classic that should be enjoyed with an unbiased mind. For the curious who want to read on, we’ll reveal that the plot involves a one-night stand, leads to a serial-killer blood-frenzy, and that JT Mollner’s homage to 70s grindhouse cinema (shot entirely on 35mm) is a six-chapter, non-linear-chronology tour de force with numerous plot twists. It’s been described by Stephen King as a “clever masterpiece” and scored a whopping 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. You know you asked for this, right? (bh)
