Following the death of their mother, the three brothers Hedgehog, Dummy and Japan go to seed in an old Greek mansion. Stoned on everything upon which they can get their hands, their only other interest seems to be their father’s unfinished research project: a time machine that could bring their mother back to life. She Loved Blossoms More is nothing less than a feverish dream heavy with melancholia, a nocturnal meditation on evanescence that hovers somewhere between a chamber play and a Cronenbergian cabinet of abnormalities. Seldom has the process of grieving been so trippy! (am)
